Mike and Karen Miller: the founders, owners and operators of OKEMSTA.
Mike has worked in the EMS industry for over 30 years. He was an EMS instructor at a University for over 14 years, while flying for Tulsa Life Flight for over the last 22 years as a critical care Paramedic. Mike has a bachelors degree from Oklahoma State University, two associate degrees, is a Registered Nurse and is certified as a Critical Care Flight Paramedic (FP-C).
Karen is a hospital administrator and partner of Woodland West Animal Hospital in the Tulsa one of the largest practices in the State Oklahoma. She manages the operations and administrates all financial aspects of a multi-million-dollar business. Together they bring decades of business, EMS and educational experience.
Tonya Jordan is the former EMS and AHA administrative assistant (AA) for the previous Rogers State University program. Tonya is a AHA CPR instructor, and administrator with over 10 years of AHA experience. Tonya is good heartily known as the “AHA Queen” because she is extremely knowledgeable on all subjects, guidelines and regulations that pertain to the AHA. She is currently our AHA business director and administrator of the OKEMSTA AHA training site.
