Start a career in EMS by becoming an EMT and get paid for helping people. The Blended format is designed to complete the major portion of the didactic/book work component at home. Students should have the freedom and discipline to study a minimum of 8 hours each week to be successful in passing the National exam. The instructor can and will offer periodic Zoom/Google Meet classes during the course. Blended students will be required to attend 48 hours of in-person skills lab scheduled throughout the semester. There will be required lab days prescheduled on 3 specific Saturdays lasting 8 hours per lab and on some weekday evenings for 4 hours. Labs cannot be missed. All Blended students are welcome to come to any Traditional class during the week at no additional charge. In fact it is encouraged.

Advanced EMT is the next progressive step to becoming a full-fledged paramedic. Learning advanced skills such as intubations, IV access and IV management that are not allowed at the EMT level. This certification is not required to apply for a paramedic program, but definitely gives the student a big advantage when progressing on to the next level of EMS provider. (Please call for availability- At this time these courses are not pre-scheduled, but set up on local demand & request)

FULL RECERTIFICATION CLASSES
Completely online content and recertification program.
We offer a recertification program with a variety of challenging EMS education. Our courses meet the NCCP (NREMT) educational model requirements and can be completed at your own pace.
We will monitor and manage your progress. Once you have completed our program you will receive a recertification course completion certificate. You can upload this to the NREMT site and complete all Natl., State and Local hours under one certificate. No adding individual courses to your NREMT transcript. Saving you time and headaches by assigning all your hours to one certificate and only upload 1 item.
This is a SELF MANAGED online continuing education (CE) program with CAPCE approved content. It is all video based education and offers enough hours to complete the national, state, and local recertification process. With this program you pick what subjects to learn and you report to the NREMT website. OKEMSTA will not manage your progress, but we are available for questions. (info@okemsta.com) We can also supply one certificate upon program completion for the total number of CE hours you completed. It will be just a verification of completed hours only. This is for the CE program only, no monitoring support with this program. If you would like OKEMSTA to monitor and manage your success and supply a recertification course completion certificate please select one of our FULL recertification programs.
If you lost your NREMT certification and need to re-take the NREMT exam you will need CEU hours to continue. We can help. If you would like OKEMSTA to monitor and manage your success and supply a recertification course completion certificate please select one of our FULL recertification programs. You could also use the Self Managed CE Program to gather those hours.
If you are taking the NREMT Exam for the 4th time you will need a refresher certificate. The NREMT wants you to complete a list of NCCP CE hours before re-taking the exam. Its a total of 20 hours in specific categories.
We can help. The SELF MANAGED program has plenty of hours and instructions on what needs to be covered. OKEMSTA support staff can help guide you in completing the correct hours and supply a certificate of completion when your done.
If you are looking for more than just online support passing the National Registry, we can help. We offer packages from a variety of OKEMSTA and other EMS programs to help you study. An instructor will be available to support your efforts, but we can not teach you a full EMS course again. It's a guided services that requires the time and effort to complete a plan and prepare you for the exam.
